Canal boat holidays in Shropshire: Ludlow market renovations 'nearly complete'

The well-known Ludlow market is currently undergoing renovations, which could attract those on canal boat holidays in Shropshire.

Chris Bayliss, the town's marketing manager, claims that the work is nearly complete and new signage is intended to make it even easier for those visiting the town to find it, the Ludlow Advertiser has reported.

The food capital of the UK's main markets will be taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and there will be special ones held every Thursday and Sunday.

Chris Bayliss, the town's marketing manager, told the news provider that the first half of the year is often quiet but it always picks up as it goes on.

He stated: 'We shall be doing what we can to promote the market locally during this time and bring in as much business as we can.'

Those with family or friends that are fans of canal boat holidays in Shropshire were recently told that Ludlow Festival vouchers could be worth investing in, providing access to a flagship production of Shakespeare's Othello directed by Ben Crocker and a whole host of other events.
