Leicestershire canal boat holidays: Treat dad this Father's Day

There are many ways for children to give their dads a treat while on Leicestershire canal boat holidays, it has been revealed.

For example, there is an opportunity to drive a real armoured vehicle at Tank Mania in Ashby de la Zouch on a purpose-built track.

Another option is a Father and Son Bushcraft Adventure session, which are currently being run by Woodland Survival Crafts in the National Forest and give ample opportunities for some bonding time.

Other activities being held in the National Forest can be found in the latest Forest Scene, the official newsletter for this particular part of the country.

The National Space Centre in Leicester is also open for visitors, with dads able to gain free entry this Father's Day (June 20th).
