Canal boat holidays in Wales: Easter events

People taking canal boat holidays in Wales this Easter have been advised that there are a range of activities going on throughout the holiday period to keep all the family entertained.

Between April 9th and the 11th, the Laugharne Weekend, one of Wales' up-and-coming literary festivals, goes into its fourth year with Roddy Doyle, Bill Drummond, Howard Marks and Stuart Maconie all tipped to make an appearance.

Meanwhile, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is hosting a variety of amusements for children, including magic shows, an Easter bonnet parade and kids' theatre, between April 2nd and the 18th.

For the adventurous, those on canal boat holidays in Wales this Easter may want to see Kidwelly Castle between April 3rd and the 5th, where knights of old will battle it out in a spectacle of warriors, weapons and warfare.
