Details
The Alvechurch Heron is a 58ft long, 5 berth semi-traditional stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.
Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.
As this is a 5 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the rear cabin and fixed double in the centre cabin, all of which have interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/single is available in the saloon.
Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge. A safe is supplied on the boat (except on boats based at Gailey), as are helmsman's waterproofs and an umbrella.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and Cafetiere
Bathroom
The bathroom comes complete with a wash hand basin, electronically operated flush toilet, and a hip bath/shower. A 240v shaver socket is also available.
Bedding
Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.
